The Role : Delivery Manager
As a Delivery Manager, you'll play a pivotal role within the Digital and Data Service space, specifically in the Delivery Team. Your primary responsibility will be to take charge of defining, documenting, and safely executing medium to large-scale projects. You will actively engage with stakeholders across all project phases and be instrumental in identifying specific measures and mechanisms for delivering and monitoring benefits. Additionally, you'll contribute to selecting the most appropriate means of representing service requirements in the context of change initiatives and conduct business impact assessments to understand how changes will affect business units and roles.

About You

- Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of processes, workflows, tools, and methodologies.
- Project Management Proficiency: Project management experience in custom-designed, full life-cycle projects. You have a creative approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build influential relationships with internal and external users, suppliers, and partners at the senior management level.
- Agile Mindset: Knowledge of project management best practices and the use of Agile and Lean tools and techniques. You understand agile delivery principles, practices, and methods.
Technical Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools for effective project management from initiation through implementation.
- Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks.
- Ability to prepare and present business cases, requests for proposals, invitations to tender, and statements of requirements/work.
- Proficiency in modelling and understanding a business and its operation.
Relationships:
- Act as the spokesperson for your project team that you work within; clearly communicate with stakeholders about the progress of the team.
- Manage external technology and delivery partners; be responsible for negotiation of contracts.
- Manage cross-functional project teams throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring a strong project team culture through collaboration and communication.
