Reporting directly to the Head Sommelier, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of wine service with our culinary offerings, contributing to the overall excellence and reputation of City Social as a premier dining destination in London. Curate an exceptional wine service that seamlessly integrates with our culinary offerings, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Collaborate closely with Executive Chef Paul Walsh and the culinary team to craft innovative food and beverage pairings that elevate the overall dining experience.
Engage with patrons, offering expert guidance on wine selections and creating bespoke experiences tailored to their preferences.
Oversee the maintenance of our wine cellar, ensuring impeccable storage conditions and efficient inventory management.
Assist in training restaurant staff to embody our commitment to service excellence and foster a culture of wine appreciation.
Contribute to the planning and execution of immersive wine events that enrich our guests' understanding and enjoyment of fine wines.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with wine suppliers to source exclusive and unique offerings for our discerning clientele.
Demonstrable experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on wine service and knowledge.
A deep understanding of wines, encompassing varietals, regions, and emerging trends.
