A substantial European Group, in turn part of a Global Corporation, our Client is already established as a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality branded consumer and professional products. Boasting an enviable brand portfolio sold through multiple channels (traditional retail multiples & trade merchants and e-commerce), the Organisation is now enhancing its market position and offering still further through aggressive sales/market growth and a constantly evolving go-to-market strategy.
It is in this thriving context that a high calibre Chief Commercial Officer is now required to develop and implement the Company’s European commercial strategy to maximize revenue, profits and market share. Reporting to the CEO – EMEA, as an integral member of the Senior Executive Team, you will provide hands-on leadership to the sales, marketing and product development teams whilst also working closely with C-suite colleagues to develop the overall business strategy and set goals. To develop and implement multichannel sales and marketing strategies, plans, forecasts and KPIs to achieve corporate revenue objectives.
To maximise business opportunities and the company’s overall profitability, as part of the senior leadership team.
To manage and develop the sales, marketing and customer services teams and instil a culture of continuous improvement.
To manage the sales, marketing and customer services functions within agreed budget.
To be actively involved in sales when required, especially for larger contracts.
Travel will be required to Head Office in the North of England and throughout Europe.
Of Graduate calibre or similar, you will be a proven Sales and/or Marketing Leader able to demonstrate the ability to successfully develop and execute sales, marketing and business strategies for branded consumer products across multiple channels (preferably on a pan-European basis). A focussed and motivational Commercial Leader, your personal success will be matched by your ability to build high-performing teams.
