On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced HR Manager based in Bridgwater in the UK. The company produces and distributes chemical products such as lubricants, cleaners and anti-corrosion products with a wide range of industrial applications, including in the automotive and electronics sectors.
The role is to execute Human Resources and organizational activities covering personnel support and management support.
Administer new employee processes: data entry, setup communication, announcement drafting and new hire details for EMEIA HQ.
Process and file holiday entitlements.
Manage UK recruitment processes: create JDs, benchmark checks, draft offers, Right to Work checks, payroll confirmations, and fee negotiations.
Liaise with external recruitment parties.
Gather and process salary review proposals.
Liaise with external HR for advice.
Address personnel issues, queries, and problems for employees and support line managers.
Inform payroll of changes before monthly processing.
Notify and follow up with managers on probation and performance reviews.
Organize and record training activities and maintain a training matrix.
A small part of the position also includes the execution of some general office management duties, restricted to the coordination of employee travel arrangements and the organization of significant staff events such as Christmas functions, retirement celebrations, etc.
Bachelor’s degree combined with 5+ years of HR experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
