Office based Degree preferred Do you have a passion for Civils Estimating and a proven track record in the industry? A Civils Estimator is required for a Main Contractor based near the Gateshead area. Our client is ideally looking for a Civils Estimator with 5+ years experience, with the ability to work on projects up to £500k -15m. Their Civil Engineering business is all about working on building strong relationships with their clients. A high percentage of their business is from repeat clients. The remaining typically comes from client referrals which speaks volumes for their client relationships. You must have previous experience (5+ years) in Civils Estimating. You will also hold a valid CSCS card. Ideally, you will be self motivated, ambitious and career motivated to develop and progress. Experience / Skills:

  • Analysis of tender documents/contract terms and conditions
  • Take offs and pricing from drawings
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Costing/developing whole life cycle costs
  • Developing sub-contract terms and conditions
