This is a fast paced, varied, busy and satisfying, full time role for someone who wants to extend their experience of working in a Voiceover or Commercial Talent Agency – or someone who has knowledge of how to price and cast voiceovers. We are looking for a thorough, sharp, productive and outgoing member of the team to grow with the company. A knowledge of TV, comedy and film is essential. This is a junior to mid-level position and appropriate experience is necessary. Different levels of experience will be considered.

Flexibility will be required for this full-time role, with work in different locations; primarily working from a home office based in Hanwell, Ealing (West London/Elizabeth Line) and 1-2 days per week from private members club in Soho/Mayfair.

Responsibilities:

  • Casting and selling voiceovers
  • Booking jobs including audiobooks, commercials, animation, video games, audio drama and more
  • Negotiating fees and contracting
  • Invoicing, chasing purchase orders
  • Proactively updating client samples and script hunting
  • Website updates
  • Dealing with representation enquiries
  • Maintaining databases and other ad hoc administration
  • Keeping up to date with British TV drama and a keen eye on theatre and emerging screen/stage talent
  • Keeping abreast of new advertising campaigns, animated TV series, audiobooks
  • Is enthusiastic in getting involved in evening recording sessions and going to the theatre.

Knowledge, skills, experience:

  • Attention to detail, good grammar, clear, concise writing skills and strong spelling
  • Confident working on a Mac, using mail, word & excel
  • Excellent admin & organisation skills, confident problem solving
  • Reliable, sociable, warm and cheerful email/phone manner
  • Ability to work at speed and under pressure
  • Maintain a friendly tone & good use of language in emails
  • Evidence of creativity and knowledge of voiceover terminology
  • Candidates will thrive in the role if they show good initiative, have experience to build on, have a good awareness of how the industry works
  • A strong knowledge and enthusiasm for British actors & comedians.

Desirable:

  • Good contacts, a knowledge of usage costs and negotiating
  • Contract experience
  • An amusing Instagram tone - someone who can come up with interesting, light hearted and cheerful content
  • Use of Mailchimp + Tagmin
  • Knowing how to do basic MP3/MP4 edits & basic use of Canva, Photoshop or any design package
  • An interest in books with an enthusiasm to help grow the audiobook department.
