This role is perfect for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper seeking to work in the industrial/manufacturing industry, specifically in the Accounting & Finance department. The role will be based in Birmingham, offering an opportunity to work with a diverse team and a wide range of accounting tasks. Client Details Our client is an industry leader in the industrial/manufacturing sector. They are well-respected for their high-quality products and commitment to sustainable practices. Description Your key responsibilities will be to: Maintain financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments Preparing and sending invoices and receipts to debtors Processing payroll and maintaining employee records Checking and correcting accounting errors and posting business transaction details to subsidiary books Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records Interacting with external auditors during audits Ensuring compliance with all internal processes Preparing financial reports for management when needed Prepare VAT return Assist with management accounts Produce balance sheet reconciliations Chasing payments Profile You will need: Experience in a similar role Proficiency in accounting software Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures Ability to do up to trial balance Excellent mathematical skills Resilient and adaptable Happy to work autonomously Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Job Offer c. £30,000 pa Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week Office based role, in Selly Oak Opportunity to develop Take the next step in your career and become a valued part of a thriving company.
