Are you a media-savvy individual with a passion for analysing press coverage and social media conversations? Our client, a prominent organisation in the EMEA region, is seeking a talented Media Analyst to join their Media Intelligence team. In this role, you will play a critical part in monitoring news cycles, providing insights, and quantifying the impact of the organisation's communications team. Read, analyse, and summarise media coverage of important issues, providing valuable insights to the wider team
Create reports with media insights, including visualisations, to assess the impact of news cycles and inform future strategies
Support the communications team in developing meaningful success metrics for campaigns across various media outlets

Sufficient years of experience in media analysis, research, journalism, or related roles
Fluent in English, with additional languages such as French or German being a major plus
Familiarity with the media market in the EMEA region, particularly the UK
Experience in handling data sets and visualising data is advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields
Experience with media monitoring tools
Proficiency in data platforms for monitoring media coverage and analysing social media conversations
Understanding of metrics and analytics within the media environment
