In this role, you will play a critical part in monitoring news cycles, providing insights, and quantifying the impact of the organisation's communications team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, analyse, and summarise media coverage of important issues, providing valuable insights to the wider team
  • Create reports with media insights, including visualisations, to assess the impact of news cycles and inform future strategies
  • Support the communications team in developing meaningful success metrics for campaigns across various media outlets

Qualifications:

  • Sufficient years of experience in media analysis, research, journalism, or related roles
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages such as French or German being a major plus
  • Familiarity with the media market in the EMEA region, particularly the UK
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in handling data sets and visualising data is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields

  • Proficiency in data platforms for monitoring media coverage and analysing social media conversations
  • Understanding of metrics and analytics within the media environment
