Job Description
The Interim Privacy Counsel will be responsible for all areas of contractual and BAU privacy.
- Provide strategic privacy advice and guidance to the organisation.
- draft, review and negotiate privacy clauses within contracts.
- Lead on all DPIAs.
- Advise business areas with a particular focus on marketing & adtech on Privacy.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
- Manage legal risks and safeguard the organisation's reputation.
- Support the DSAR process.
- Advise on GDPR.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Privacy Counsel should :
- be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- experience and expert knowledge of Data Protection & GDPR.
- advised businesses on consumer data matters.
- an understanding of the data protection implications for marketing and adtech.
- A solution-oriented approach and ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Proficiency in legal research and risk management.
