United Kingdom Squarcle Full time

Squarcle is a growing digital supply chain and performance excellence consultancy dedicated to driving the performance of our clients. We are people orientated and pride ourselves on our people first culture. Unlike many consultancies Squarcle is as equally dedicated to delivery as it is to design.

The Squarcle graduate programme will see our graduates working with both aspects of our client facing teams, the supply chain and performance excellence and the digital team. The programme will provide exposure to core aspects of both teams to develop the skills required to provide supply chain and digitalisation advice to clients that function within a fast-moving global environment. The programme will be co-led by the Head of Consulting and Head of Technology. Working together but often independently, each graduate will be expected to work onsite and remotely, with the client on complex engagements.

‘We optimise the performance of supply chains through the expertise of operations professionals, digitisation and data science’

Squarcle is committed to equality and diversity and our aim is to build a diverse, dedicated, and high-performing team of subject matter experts to help our clients achieve supply chain and performance excellence.

Management consulting requires problem-solving, client engagement/stakeholder management, presentation skills and unique thinking/critical thinking. Organisations today face many problems which affect their ability to perform. With the ever-changing landscape and the emergence of innovative technologies, organisations need to evolve faster than ever. They need help to identify, design and implement the changes vital to their economic health. Our consultants supply their expertise to help our clients attain their performance ambition through the proposed changes.

Squarcle Graduate consultants work across both project delivery and business development:

  • Delivery: Squarcle management consultants work to supply solutions to the clients’ changing business needs. The scope of engagements is highly variable and can include core strategy development, large scale implementation, process optimization, change management, and new technology introduction.
  • Business development: Squarcle places an emphasis on leading sector thinking in the development of new ideas. This can include producing white papers and internal research on relevant changes occurring in the sector and the impact of the general economy.

Graduate consultants will have the opportunity to work across four broad subject areas:

  • Strategy: Strategy consultants provide clients with guidance in various spheres of business, including corporate strategy, business transformation, and digital and innovation capabilities
  • Operations: Operations consultants provide clients with guidance about business process optimisations to improve operational business capabilities
  • Information Technology: Information technology consultants supply and implement technological solutions for the client
  • Human Capital: Human capital consultants provide clients with solutions with change management and aide with any organizational changes that may affect the employees

Graduate consultants are given opportunity to support on projects and are expected to utilise a bank of knowledge and expertise from project leads and other employees. All Squarcle employees are encouraged to ask questions and to learn from each other.

During the Squarcle graduate programme you will develop the skills to transform our clients’ businesses across people, processes, and systems. An overview of the programme is as below:

  • Month 1 will involve a two-week onboarding period and focus on meeting the team, understanding how we work and onboarding to your first project.
  • Months 2-3 will see you working on a project and learning the basics of consulting.
  • Months 4-12 will see you learning more about the business, developing your skills and training in our strategic priorities of key technologies and methodologies such as data fluency, project management, stakeholder management and performance excellence.
