The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Hotel General Manager (GM) and supported by the LGH Regional Director of Sales, the Director of New Business Sales will play a pivotal role in identifying and driving targeted new business sales opportunities to achieve the hotel's annual budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the GM and commercial functions to define and drive a pro active sales culture and strategy within the hotel
Plan and execute new business sales generation activities within a defined territory/market – London.
Proactively prospect new business and optimize sales opportunities driving the achievement of key budgeted segments.
Identify and execute new opportunities within key segments to drive pipeline business
Consistently benchmark relevant markets and product knowledge for targeted customer acquisition.
Ideal Candidate
You will need a strong presence someone who demonstrates confidence and authority in interactions with clients, colleagues, and industry peers. You will be a strategic thinker capable of developing and implementing innovative sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Can exhibit a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth within the London hotel marketplace, Has the adaptability and thrive in a fast-paced environment and can pivot quickly to address evolving business needs and market dynamics.
Approaches challenges with creativity and resourcefulness, finding solutions that drive positive outcomes. Extensive industry knowledge, and possesses a deep understanding of the London market, including market trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences.
