James Adams is seeking a Product Manager with experience in the Network and Security space. We are working with a growing IT services provider specialising in managed services, network security, and IT infrastructure solutions for businesses across various industries. As they expand, they are looking to bring on a skilled and motivated Product Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the development and delivery of innovative IT products that empower businesses with cutting-edge technology solutions.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in the IT Services or Managed Service Provider (MSP) sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with networking and security vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Darktrace, and Splunk. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and driving the roadmap for our products, working closely with both technical teams and stakeholders to ensure that we deliver high-impact solutions that meet customer needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product roadmap for IT services and managed security solutions, aligning with the company’s strategy and customer demands.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, marketing) and external vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Darktrace, Splunk) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring that customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes are understood and addressed.
- Lead the development and launch of new products and features, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and support sales and marketing teams with product positioning, messaging, and training.
- Monitor and analyze product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and product innovation.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on networking and security technologies, advising on technical integrations and best practices.
- Ensure that all product offerings are aligned with industry standards and compliance regulations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in product management, preferably within the IT services or MSP sector.
- Strong knowledge of networking and security solutions from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Darktrace, Splunk.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and iteration.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and customer support teams to deliver successful product outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends, competitive products, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable product requirements.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
