Sanderson King has been appointed as the recruitment search partner to find an experienced, creative, and inspirational **Marketing Director** for an established B2C brand based in Cornwall.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Marketing Director with a passion for storytelling and building a meaningful lifestyle brand. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the brand strategy to elevate the company's market position, shaping its brand identity, and defining its spirit. You will lead the promotion and positioning efforts, overseeing content creation and distribution across multiple channels to support sales, marketing, and operational activities.
As the creative lead and brand champion, you will collaborate with the sales, operations, and revenue teams to develop innovative marketing strategies. You will be tasked with curating digital, PR, and marketing content to ensure the brand's message reaches the right audiences at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Represent marketing at the board level, offering strategic input on growth plans and business strategy.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and brand-led growth plans to elevate market presence.
- Oversee all marketing aspects, including Brand Marketing, Creative, Product, and Digital/E-commerce, aligning with business objectives.
- Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all communication channels.
- Manage the marketing team, fostering professional growth and driving performance.
- Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective marketing activities.
Storytelling and Brand Communications:
- Craft a unified brand story to build presence and reputation across different audiences.
- Execute annual communications plans to enhance customer experience and attract new audiences.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of digital and print content, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Manage digital advertising campaigns (PPC, Social, Meta, etc.) and drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce impactful campaigns and materials.
- Establish the brand on the national stage through PR efforts and media relations.
- Develop partnerships with local businesses to create innovative products and campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years in a senior marketing role, preferably within the hospitality or service sector.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth through effective marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (SEO, PPC, Social Media, etc.).
- Creative thinker with analytical skills, able to translate insights into strategies.
