Position Summary

The Regional Business Line Manager will be responsible for the overall commercial management of the Saunders HC4 portfolio in Europe, including product line pricing and profitability, definition of new business initiatives, providing sales target opportunities by application and geography, product training and the provision of sales tools. The job holder will also be responsible for assisting the Global BLM in developing the short and long-term strategies for the Saunders HC4 portfolio and for the implementation of those strategies in this region, including business model development and execution.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Assisting and supporting the Global Business Line Managers in the development of the Saunders HC4 products’ global short and long-term strategy and responsible for its implementation in the region, including:

- Full analysis of competitive landscape as well as regional market economic and industry indicators;

- Full analysis and projection of regional market size, growth rates and current share position; and

- Maintenance of project win/loss database for analysis and trend purposes

. Responsible for business model development and assisting with and supporting its execution

. Assisting and supporting the development of strategic and annual operations plan for the Saunders HC4 product line

. Responsible for development and implementation of product line pricing and profitability within the region:

-By customer and order types.

-Establish regional product sourcing strategy

-Assist and contribute to the Price List definition and implementation within the region

-Monitor competitor marketing and pricing activities and develop counter-strategies

-Project win/loss analysis

-Providing interactive / informative dialogue between Sales, Value Stream and customers and constantly evaluating the state of the market (Market Trending and Business Intelligence)

. Responsible for the definition of new Business Development initiatives in the region

. Responsible for providing sales target opportunities by application and geography, and supporting these with product and “how to win” sales tools

- Develop product-related training materials

- Provide / undertake training for both internal and external employees and channels.

. Assisting with and supporting the development and implementation of regional product demand review summary, including:

- Defining demand forecast and project forecast summary and establishing inventory stocking level strategies within the region.

. Assisting and supporting the identification and researching of new product development ideas and opportunities

- Develop business cases and serves as member of brand NPD team

. Responsible for new Product launches in region.

. Developing with Sales Manager the appropriate product channel strategy and defines preferred sales channels.

. Responsible for interacting with the Value Streams to assure agreed service level and customer metrics (LT and OTD) are achieved

. Supporting the Value Stream and sales activities in achieving the planned sales and margins for Saunders products

. Interfacing with sales leadership (Director, Regional or Account), channels and customers to determine:

- Annual sales plan (targets) for region by:

Project and MRO;

- Account Management support;

- Projects and prospects, and pursue projects; and

- Product application, technical and service support

. Assisting customer service teams in contract review and quotation strategy.

- Provide guidance and approval for “major” customer change orders

. Assisting Marketing Manager and/or Director, MARCOM in:

- Creating brand/product communication/promotion plan;

- Funneling leads;

- Establishing and managing marketing expense budgets;

- Selection, approval and execution of exhibitions; and

- Brochures and technical documentation

. Participating actively in the Quality and OpEx processes, including project team involvement, problem solving, and recommending solutions to improve and enhance the quality of departmental and/or company-wide activities.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Required

. Educated to degree level in a technical or business related subject e.g. engineering, manufacturing, business systems and marketing

. Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English, including technical and business terms

. Ability to operate across the business and in different environments and cultures

. Exceptional marketing and analytical skills

. Excellent presentation skills

. Integrity and ethical qualities of the highest standard
