A global payments firm, is actively seeking an accomplished Head of Risk, Assurance and Governance. This role presents the unique opportunity to navigate intricate environments whilst enhancing the risk management framework in a rigorous regulatory landscape. The successful candidate will be entrusted with leading a global team across numerous jurisdictions, managing over 10 direct reports (50 in-direct reports) spread across diverse sectors including payments and insurance. This role necessitates someone with demonstrated experience in managing relationships with regulatory bodies. * Lead a global team across diverse sectors * Navigate intricate regulatory landscapes * Manage relationships with regulatory bodies

What you'll do:
As the Head of Risk, Assurance and Governance, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the risk management strategy within a dynamic global payments firm. You will design and implement frameworks that align with local regulatory obligations in various markets. Your ability to influence senior stakeholders through data-driven risk advisory will be crucial to your success. You will also lead efficiency initiatives and build a high-performing global team. Furthermore, you will deploy a rolling three-year assurance testing plan that covers all supported business lines.

* Design and implement frameworks in accordance with local regulatory obligations in multifaceted markets
* Influence senior stakeholders and support effective decision-making using data-driven risk advisory
* Design and implement efficiency initiatives
* Build and coach a global team

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Head of Risk, Assurance and Governance role brings exceptional analytical skills to the table. You are comfortable using data to make clear recommendations to senior leaders. Your working knowledge of Payments, Anti-Money Laundering, Insurance, or Lending will be invaluable in this role. Direct experience dealing with financial services regulators is essential. Additionally, you have extensive experience in people management, including building high-performing cross-border teams and addressing complex cases of underperformance.

* Exceptional analytical skills and comfort using data to make clear recommendations to senior leaders
* Working knowledge of Payments, Anti-Money Laundering, Insurance, and/or Lending
* Direct experience of dealing with financial services regulators
* Extensive experience of people management, including building high performing cross-border teams and dealing with complex cases of underperformance
