Senior Management Accountant – up to £70,000 – 3 days onsite in London- fulltime - Must have MSP Experience We are looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to lead financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls while providing strategic insight to senior leadership. You’ll play a key role in overseeing month-end and year-end processes, developing a small finance team, and supporting the business through strong analysis and commercial awareness. This organisation is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider that has scaled organically and through acquisition, with continued expansion planned. The finance function is evolving alongside this growth, making this an ideal environment for someone who wants to influence process improvement, build capability, and add strategic value. Key Responsibilities: • Take ownership of producing monthly management accounts across several business entities, with clear explanations behind performance movements • Oversee and drive the month-end and year-end close, ensuring all journals, reconciliations, accruals and adjustments are completed accurately and on time • Manage, coach and support a small finance team, building capability and encouraging continuous development • Lead the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting cycles, working closely with stakeholders across different functions • Track financial performance, highlight variances and trends, and provide insight that supports operational and commercial decision-making • Build financial models and scenario forecasts to support planning, investment cases and business strategy Experience & Skills Required • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience in management accounting roles • Strong track record preparing management accounts and running month-end processes end-to-end • Comfortable working with large data sets and explaining complex financial information in a straightforward way • Confident using Excel at an advanced level, and familiar with modern finance/ERP systems • Highly organised, able to balance multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure • Strong communicator who can work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders • High standard of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality work
