Project Sales Engineer

Climate17 is excited to be partnered with an organisation having over 30 years in the industry who specialise in energy systems services ranging from, design, installation, commission and service bespoke building energy management systems (BEMS) to provide sophisticated operational control, providing energy optimised solutions and creating fit for purpose environmental conditions.
Ensure projects are designed, specified and quoted in line with business processes, achieved margin and in time. Committed to ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times, to enable the business to achieve its objectives.
Manage quotation tools and CRM systems to ensure accuracy in data held.
Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in building automation and energy management technologies.
Generate initial plant schematics, system I/O point schedules. • Estimate loose controls equipment, control panel design and obtain quote/costings, wiring installation cost and obtain quote/costing.
Follow up on sales enquiries in a timely manner.
Identify new opportunities for sales growth during your duties, both for Smart Controls and the wider group organisation.
Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution, from procurement to commissioning.
Facilitate smooth handover of projects to the implementation team, providing comprehensive documentation and technical support as needed.
Stay updated with training provided by Trend and other relevant sources to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Ensure compliance with the company’s health and safety, quality and environmental procedures in accordance with legislation and the company’s policies.
BMS technical application experience and knowledge, with ability to demonstrate understanding and delivery of tenders and associated mechanical and electrical knowledge (essential)
Demonstrate a deep understanding of building energy management systems, including their functionalities, installation requirements, and integration capabilities. (Engineering or Mechanical degree’s (desirable)
