Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will join London team to support our activities within the Automotive sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Assess electrical components from vendors, focusing on drivetrain systems like EDUs, transmissions, and EDS, for compatibility, reliability, and quality.
  • Utilize your electrical expertise to evaluate technical specifications and performance metrics of supplier components.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to convey quality requirements and offer improvement recommendations.
  • Thoroughly document assessment findings, including test results, quality reports, and suggestions for supplier enhancements.
  • Work across teams, including engineering and procurement, to initiate continuous improvement efforts and resolve quality issues.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with McLaren's quality standards and objectives.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or similar degree with 5 years of professional experience working in a Quality organization.Supplier Quality preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills, verbal communication skills, and presentation skills to a wide-ranging set of audiences.
