We are recruiting for an Ecommerce Manager to lead the full commercial, technical, and operational performance of Mediq UK’s e-commerce channels, including MedBIS and future storefronts. This role is responsible for the commercial trading, technical integrity, and operational delivery of Mediq UK’s e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient digital experience for card payment and online ordering customers. Reporting into Head of Marketing, the Ecommerce Manager will identify new segments, shape digital propositions, and manage multiple storefronts while ensuring operational excellence, strong digital adoption, and a seamless customer experience. Salary £50,000 - £55,000 Responsibilities: E-commerce Operations & Trading Manage daily e-commerce performance with smooth order processing, payment flows, fulfilment and post-sales support. Monitor and optimise search, merchandising and pricing to maximise sales. Manage agencies supporting optimisation, UX, CRO, and day-to-day performance. Act as business owner for the end-to-end commercial performance of all storefronts. Customer Onboarding & Account Support Lead seamless onboarding of customers. Develop self-service tools (FAQs, guides, helpdesk flows) to reduce inbound contact. Collaborate with the Customer Contact Centre and Sales to quickly resolve issues. Commercial Growth & Sales Enablement Work cross-functionally to develop sector-specific online propositions. Identify and build propositions for new customer segments. Develop and execute promotional strategies to drive sales growth. Own the commercial development roadmap for expanding Mediq’s digital footprint into new markets and customer types. Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement Manage customer segmentation and campaign performance tracking. Support marketing campaigns. Technical & Platform Support Act as the business expert and product owner for the e-commerce platform, with deep understanding of site architecture, data flows, and integrations that underpin commercial and operational performance. Lead on data integrity, ensuring product, pricing, and customer information are accurate, synchronised, and compliant across stores and connected systems. Maintain the platform roadmap and lead all user acceptance testing for developments. Manage relationships with developers, agencies, and technology partners to ensure platform stability and scalability. Uphold robust data governance, GDPR, and PCI-DSS compliance standards. What are we looking for? We are looking for a technically confident and commercially driven individual who has strong experience managing B2B or B2C ecommerce platforms who is customer centric and has a passion for improving digital experiences. It would be great if you have: Strong understanding of e-commerce trading, customer experience, and digital merchandising. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving ability Experience working with ERP-linked e-commerce systems Strong understanding of website analytics, reporting tools, and testing methodologies. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Previous experience in healthcare, consumables, or regulated industries advantageous.
