Gresham Hunt has partnered with a leading Commodities Broker to find a new Trade Surveillance Associate.

Our client is a leading Commodities Broker that has seen lots of recent growth, and they are looking to grow their Compliance Team. They are looking for an experienced Trade Surveillance Associate to join the team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing surveillance on the firm’s trading activity
  • Flagging suspicious trades, and support in investigating potential instances of market abuse
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory developments
  • Supporting and contributing to MI reports for the surveillance team

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2-3+ years’ experience in conducting trade surveillance, with familiarity with Nasdaq SMARTS system
  • Knowledge of Commodities products and derivatives (Futures and Options)
  • Strong computer literacy
  • A good mark (2:1 or better) in a relevant subject (Finance, Economics, STEM, etc.)

The successful candidate will be awarded a strong starting package, with great opportunity for future growth and development.

Candidates must be based in the UK with full Right to Work. Visa sponsorship is not possible.
