This high school has already developed a strong relationship with the surrounding community and is rated “Good” overall from their latest Ofsted inspection with descriptions of “calm classrooms” and students listening to their teachers carefully and quickly following instructions. We work closely with this school to provide day to day staffing needs, long-term supply and permanent placements. Hays has become well-respected and a market leader in many areas through a constant focus on providing outstanding customer service to both teachers and schools. Your new role You will be supporting the Languages department by teaching either French or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, starting September 2024. In order to be a full-time language teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status or be looking to complete your induction year. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst always demonstrating a professional manor. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills, as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school. We accept applications from newly qualified teachers that are eager to start their first teaching role within secondary education.
