We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Head of Science to join a supportive and talented team in a popular Secondary School based in the heart of the highly desirable London Borough of Kensington & Chelsea.
An expanding school with an expanding Science department, we are looking to recruit a professional and ambitious Head of Science who is passionate about transforming the educational lives of some eager and keen to learn students.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Science Teacher looking to progress into a leadership and management position.
Head of Science – Job Details:
High-performing 11-18 non-selective co-educational academy in the heart of Kensington & Chelsea
Permanent school contract commencing September 2024
Head of Science – Job Requirements:
Excellent academic credentials including QTS and at least a 2:1 degree within a Science subject area
Demonstrate successful teaching of GCSE at good or better level
Be an outstanding teacher, able to teach at least one of the Science subject areas effectively to A-Level
Have the drive and ability to raise the profile of Science within and outside school
Be ambitious for themselves, the department and the wider school
