London, United Kingdom Liva Healthcare Full time

Since our inception in 2015 in Denmark, Liva has been a pioneer in the field of digital behaviour change. Our ambition is to empower 1 million people by 2030 to improve their health and well-being by preventing and managing chronic conditions through digitally-powered, evidence-based lifestyle interventions.
Headquartered in Copenhagen and London, our collaborations with healthcare systems - including the NHS, life science companies and health insurers - allow us to impact lives at scale.
We have big ambitions and, to help us achieve these we’re looking for a Specialist Nurse to join the team.
We are looking for an  experienced nurse and independent prescriber to join our multidisciplinary clinical team, and support our digital services for patients living with chronic weight-related conditions.
This is a hybrid role, combining patient care within our weight management service, with an expanded role in supporting clinical governance across Liva’s programmes.
The role sits within the Clinical and Research Team and reports to the Medical Director, working closely with the Service Operations Team. Conduct remote patient consultations within our weight management service
Manage patients prescribed GLP-1 and related medications, from initiation, dose titration and ongoing monitoring
Act as part of an multidisciplinary team, working closely with dieticians, doctors and support staff.
Support the delivery and ongoing development of Liva’s safeguarding processes, contributing to safeguarding leadership as appropriate
Contribute to service development and quality improvement, refining processes and supporting new pathway design.
Stay up to date with national guidance and ensure best practice is reflected in company policies and clinical operations.
UK-based, with NMC registration
Demonstrable experience in working in weight management, diabetes and/or general practice settings
Demonstrable experience of participation in clinical governance or quality improvement activities.
Experience of participation in safeguarding activities
Confidence with remote consulting and using electronic systems
Experience working in digital healthcare
Level 3 Adult and Child Safeguarding certification (this must otherwise be completed during onboarding)
Understanding of CQC regulatory framework
We think this role would best suit an experienced practice or diabetes/weight management nurse with additional prescribing qualifications, or an ANP with experience of chronic disease management.
This role would mostly be performed remotely with a requirement to come to our London office on occasion, and we would be open to full time or part-time (80%).
We are a purpose-driven company, and we go to work every day to help people live better lives. Our purpose is in our DNA, and we are always on the lookout for talented people who are eager to evolve and build a life-changing career within global health tech.
We are committed to both eliminating discrimination and encouraging diversity amongst our workforce. We are committed to developing a representative workforce at all levels, and maintaining a working environment that promotes the health and wellbeing of our employees.
