Clinical Nurse Specialist - Diabetes and Endocrinology Join to apply for the Clinical Nurse Specialist - Diabetes and Endocrinology role at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust Job Overview You will be accountable for the delivery of a comprehensive, skilled and evidence-based Diabetes and Endocrinology service to meet the needs of the population. Providing support to the senior team in leadership, diabetes and Endocrinology management, delivery and development of services. You will work independently while supporting the team in the management of clinical caseload within your specialist field. Continuing responsibility for assessment of health needs and development and evaluation of standards of care. Responsibilities Provide expert care and support for people with diabetes and endocrine conditions. Manage own patient caseload, giving advice, education and treatment in different settings. Teach and train patients, families and staff to improve knowledge and self-care. Work closely with other health professionals to ensure joined‑up and effective care. Develop services, carry out audits, and use research to improve standards of care. Support the team by showing leadership, sharing skills, and helping others learn and grow.
