About You You will be enthusiastic, proactive and able adapt to a fast moving work environment. You will have good IT skills, you will be organised and be able to adapt quickly as priorities change. Exciting work you will do You will be working with a dynamic team across the Division of Occupational Therapy. We are a cohesive team, involved in projects, teaching and research over a wide range of areas and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills across the spectrum of academic life. The skills and experience you will need to be successful You must hold a Bachelors in Occupational therapy and a Master’s degree in or equivalent and be registered with the HCPC. You will be teaching, personal tutoring, marking, working with placement providers across the BSc and postgraduate provision, so you will need to be organised and a team player prepared to contribute as required across the team. Some teaching experience would be useful, but an interest in developing those skills and an interest in contributing to the positive student experience is essential. In addition to your teaching and learning experience, you will be an established researcher with a record of high-quality outputs and a proven ability to secure research funding. We welcome applications from candidates whose research demonstrates societal impact, and where there is evidence of knowledge exchange, business or community engagement, and national and international collaboration. Experience of doctoral level supervision would also be an advantage. This post is open on a full-time permanent basis to candidates who meet the Research Excellence Framework (REF) criteria at the time of appointment. Applicants should have a record of high-quality outputs in interdisciplinary research that meet REF standards. Applicants who do not currently meet the REF criteria, may be offered a fixed-term appointment.
