Senior Project Manager - Highways and Civil Engineering

Our client has a new opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join their Design and Consultancy team in West Bridgford.

The successful candidate will lead a team of project managers and improvement officers to deliver a varied programme, from local improvement schemes through to significant and complex highway and civil engineering projects.

To lead and co-ordinate the planning and delivery of projects, understanding company wide and third party dependencies, resource and technical requirements.
·To take responsibility for the scoping, development and achievement of project management services bringing together design and environmental services to enable successful delivery
·To hold team to account to comply with all statutory responsibilities including Health, Safety and Environmental, duties, policies and procedures to ensure standards are met

Proven experience in managing major projects and a design service delivered through appropriate contractual arrangements.
·Proven experience in managing people and performance.
·Proven experience in managing a portfolio of large scale highway and civil engineering projects.
·Proven experience of financial management and budgetary monitoring spend to give confidence on delivery programme and out turn costs being to client satisfaction.
·A degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related subject and post qualification relevant experience, or equivalent knowledge gained through practical experience in a highway and/or civil engineering project management environment
