We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our globally respected organisation, Mirion Technologies . You will play a critical role in delivering technical support, installation, commissioning, calibration, routine testing and repairs, both on-site and remotely. This is a hands-on position requiring a high level of technical expertise, initiative, autonomy and a commitment to quality and safety.

Perform field service activities across various customer sites, including installation, calibration, testing, and repair of nuclear-measurement systems
Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers across the UK and occasionally travel abroad
Promote the company’s service capabilities and uphold our core values: Collaborate closely with UK and international service teams to ensure seamless support delivery

We are looking for a proactive and technically capable individual who thrives in a dynamic field environment. A recognised engineering apprenticeship and a minimum ONC in Electronics or Electrical Engineering is desirable (or equivalent experience / qualification)
Experience with radiation is desirable (not essential as training will be given)
Knowledge of radiation measurement instruments and gamma spectroscopy (training will be provided if needed)
Familiarity with working on nuclear licensed sites such as Sellafield, EDF, MAGNOX or Dounreay (preferred, not essential)
Strong initiative, motivation and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under pressure
Eligibility for UK security clearance (British or EU passport holder)
High level of English proficiency
