Based primarily near key customer sites around the North West area of England, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced Radiological Protection Instruments, Non-Destructive Assay systems and Gamma Spectroscopy equipment.You will play a critical role in delivering technical support, installation, commissioning, calibration, routine testing and repairs, both on-site and remotely. This is a hands-on position requiring a high level of technical expertise, initiative, autonomy and a commitment to quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform field service activities across various customer sites, including installation, calibration, testing, and repair of nuclear-measurement systemsProvide remote and on-site technical support to customers across the UK and occasionally travel abroadTroubleshoot complex systems and deliver effective solutions independently or as part of a teamMaintain accurate documentation in line with QHSE standardsPromote the company’s service capabilities and uphold our core values: Integrity, Commitment, Accountability, Respect and ExplorationCollaborate closely with UK and international service teams to ensure seamless support deliveryAbout YouWe are looking for a proactive and technically capable individual who thrives in a dynamic field environment. The ideal candidate will bring:A recognised engineering apprenticeship and a minimum ONC in Electronics or Electrical Engineering is desirable (or equivalent experience / qualification)Experience with radiation is desirable (not essential as training will be given)Knowledge of radiation measurement instruments and gamma spectroscopy (training will be provided if needed)Familiarity with working on nuclear licensed sites such as Sellafield, EDF, MAGNOX or Dounreay (preferred, not essential)Strong initiative, motivation and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under pressureExcellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skillsEligibility for UK security clearance (British or EU passport holder)High level of English proficiencyWhat we can offerOur employees make the difference, that’s why we can offer the following:-A competitive salary and benefits packageCompany car or car allowanceThe opportunity to develop within an international group working on high profile projectsOngoing professional development opportunities and trainingA collaborative and supportive work environment
