Your new companyHays Recruitment are proud to be supporting a number of mainstream primary schools in the Southport area who require motivated and experienced Teaching Assistants to support students in all primary key stages. We support schools with both day to day and long term contracts with the possibility to go permanent from next academic year. Ideally, we are looking for someone that can commit to full-time equivalent hours, but part-time options are available.
Your new roleIn your new role as a Primary School Teaching Assistant with Hays, you will have the opportunity to work in one of a number of schools in the Southport and surround Sefton area. Other duties will include intervention and booster sessions, phonics, classroom management, behaviour management and building the self-esteem of your new pupils.
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful with your application, you need full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as a minimum of 40 days of referenceable experience supporting children and young people in the last 2 years, as well as:

Previous experience working with children/students between the ages of 5-11
An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in supporting teaching and learning is advantageous but not essential.
