Your new role
Your new job as a Construction Account handler will be working for a privately-owned Global Lloyd’s Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the City. They have a dedicated team of over 5000 employees who prides themselves on having an entrepreneurial cultural that their clients benefit from.
Due to continued successful growth within the Construction division they are looking to recruit a Construction Account handler to join them in a client, market-facing role to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service across the Construction team.
- Provide day-to-day service delivery to a mixed portfolio of mid to large corporate UK and European Construction clients and projects.
- Research, prepare, and present renewal reports.
- Obtain quotations for both new and renewal business.
- Prepare market presentations and serve clients ensuring exceptional service.
- Build relationships with insurers, lawyers, and loss adjusters.
- Act as a point of referral for junior staff.
- Present solutions for discussion with account team where required.
Your previous experience working in Construction insurance, ideally gained from a brokerage. Technical knowledge of not only construction risks but also experience of associated casualty lines of business. Excellent communications skills and the ability to attend external client meetings when required. They are looking for someone that has the energy and appetite to learn and proven can develop and progress within our business.

This is predominantly an office-based role with training and study support offered. You’ll enjoy working as part of a growing and friendly team with a unique vision to grow and develop long term Client needs.
