About the Company A well-established international brand operating across the UK and USA, supplying specialist equipment and consumer products to both commercial and domestic markets. Continued expansion across multiple regions has created the need for strengthened financial leadership within the business. About the Role An experienced Financial Controller / Finance Manager is required to manage day-to-day finance operations and support strategic decision-making across the company’s UK and US divisions. This is a hands-on, full-time position combining transactional finance oversight, management reporting, and process improvement. Working closely with colleagues across Finance and Operations, you will enhance financial controls, improve reporting accuracy, and contribute to scalable business growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Direct Debit processes Manage the setup and review of new credit accounts and customer statements Complete account reconciliations and VAT submissions Prepare monthly management accounts for multi-entity operations Conduct P&L reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash-flow management Oversee Accounts Payable and monthly invoice-factor reporting Lead month-end close and internal reporting cycles Deliver customer, sales-channel, and commercial analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning Provide guidance and training to finance support staff Review and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Skills & Experience Required Strong technical understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ICAS, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred) Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant discipline Working Hours Monday – Thursday : 9:00am – 5:30pm Friday : 9:00am – 3:30pm Location Fife Salary £50,000 - £60,000
