*About the Role:*
We’re looking for a *Trade Counter Manager* to work in our established Trade Counter based in Telford.
You’ll inherit a significant customer base of Commercial Flooring Contractors, Shop Fitters and Construction Project Managers and our goal is to grow business with new and existing customers.
As the fast-growing construction market evolves at pace, your role will be to keep at the forefront of the market and new projects – spotting and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with existing products and customers; and proactively creating openings to sell in products and bring new customers on board.
You’ll have all the tools to do the job: the broadest and best protection ranges, great delivery support and top-class customer service. From there it’s down to you You’ll need to leverage your commerciality, customer relationship building skills, tenacity and drive to build and grow the area.
*Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:*
* Managing your own Trade Counter and responsible for the delivery of monthly sales/ profitability/pricing/margin and cost.
* Building *relationships* with new and existing *customers; *advising andinfluencing them on the best solutions and growing sales.
* Cleverly utilising technical *knowledge and solution selling* to introduce customers to new products and ranges and drive incremental sales.
* Managing customer *pricing* quotations and terms to reflect the complexity of products, price points, volumes and credit terms.

*About You:*
We’re looking for a proven Sales/Account Manager who shares our passion for the construction, fit-out and refurbishment markets. You’ll need to have the tenacity, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to take this excellent product range and build solutions, excitement and commitment in your customers.
*You will be responsible for developing your own team and have experience in sales with a strong commercial track record.*
*In particular you’ll bring:*
* Sales and account management success – in a B2B sales environment
* An impressive track record of driving sales via a consultative-selling approach
* You’ll ideally have some experience in Construction or a related sector – or an interest you’d like to develop
* People Management experience
* Strong organisation skills and experience of working with CRM or similar systems
* A strong work ethic and a passion for exploring new opportunities to build business with your customers
* A full, clean Driving Licence
