Technical Assessor in Advanced Rail Engineering

Remote with some travel

Are you passionate about guiding apprentices towards success in their careers? This role is working for a national training provider, they are seeking a skilled Technical Assessor to lead apprentices through their L4 Advanced Rail Engineering program. You will need to have infrastructure experience within Railways for this role.

Purpose of Role:

  • Monitor KPI data to guide apprentices and line managers
  • Provide support in ED&I, H&S, Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values
  • Prepare apprentices for EPA with structured review and guidance

Top Tasks:

  • Act as a point of contact for apprentices, customers, and employers
  • Mentor and coach individuals for personal and educational growth
  • Support apprentice transition from training to workplace
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment policies

Qualifications:

  • Assessor qualification or willingness to obtain
  • L4 Rail Engineering qualification or significant relevant experience
