Role: Asbestos Technical Assessor Location: Remote, UK coverage

We are currently looking for an External Technical Assessor with extensive experience of asbestos testing and inspection work.

Playing a pivotal role, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in the asbestos sector.

Ideally be COC Asbestos qualified or most of the P401 to P408 completed, equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
Proven experience of asbestos testing and/or inspection activities
Experience of internal or external auditing would be beneficial to ISO/IEC17025, ISO/IEC17020 although full training will be given to become a Technical Assessor
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with testing and inspection staff, Senior Management Teams and their customers at all levels.
