Role: NHSS (Technical Assessor)

Contract role: Daily Rate + Expenses.

Location: Remote, UK coverage

We are currently looking for an external Technical Assessor to support our National Highway Sector Schemes (NHSS) assessments from fencing to paint and road surfaces, playing a pivotal role in upholding industry standards and ensuring compliance with regulations in the highway sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of highway construction and maintenance projects.
  • Evaluating compliance with National Highway Sector Schemes standards.
  • Providing detailed feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to address any compliance issues.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and standards within the industry.

What We're Looking For:

  • A background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of highway construction and maintenance practices.
  • Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or compliance assessment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in the highway sector.
