Summary Championing standards, safeguarding compliance The Role This role is key within the Site Technical team, working closely with Production Management to drive and improve good manufacturing practice, food quality and safety. The role takes responsibility for effective coordination of the compliance team to ensure that the highest standards of food safety of our products and processes are maintained and improved. Shift Times: Monday to Wednesday - 0600 - 1800 Your Key Responsibilities Audit Ready Champion of product quality, Food Safety standards and good practices, follow hygiene procedures at all times. Ensure compliance principles are improved in align with legislative requirements, Food industry standards and customer codes of practice. Undertake Routine Calibration as required by the Site Schedules as defined in the Sofina Malton Quality Manual. Conduct day to day compliance auditing of the site. Assist in identifying and progressing External/ Internal Audit Non-conformance corrective actions are completed. Monitor the production processes and drive factory standards. Compliance to all Hygiene standards, the wearing and ensuring others are wearing the appropriate clothing and Personal Protective Equipment at all times. Accurate completion of all traceability documentation in line with site procedure. Conduct Quality audits to ensure Quality standards are being adhered to on line. Conduct Verification Audits as required within the Sofina Malton Quality Manual The Ideal Candidate Reliable, conscientious, self -motivated FMCG Industry Experience Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills Previous experience in similar role would be beneficial, Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks Problem solving and ability to influence solutions Strong Relationship Building Why Sofina Foods?
