Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to:
- Provide effective secretariat support for NHP's senior boards and some committees improving consistency of approach and standardisation, liaising with the Secretariats in NHS England and the Sponsor Team with regards wider NHP governance.
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in programme or corporate governance and providing a Secretariat service to governance forums.
- Experience of undertaking an assurance role, for example internal audit, programme assurance reviews of second line of defence functions.

- Ability to make decisions autonomously, when required, on difficult and contentious issues where there may be a number of courses of action, working to tight and often changing timescales.
