The below job description will outline this position of: Planned Maintenance System Administrator Typically, this person will provide central point for the companys planned maintenance system across the fleet & shore-based offices, warehouse and workshops. HSB Technicals client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Planned Maintenance System Administrator: Core Duties will be resolving any helpdesk queries, job history, updating documentation, purchase orders, spares (items) and improvement of the system structures.

Training of onshore and crew staff with the operation of the system, planned maintenance, procurement and more.

Managing the system support helpdesk and resolving requests or issues.

You will be required to visit vessels to provide one to one training when required.

Checking the finance cost and account codes are used correctly.

Working with technical departments with admin duties as required within the system, such as port call document, requisitions and more.

Liaising with the Business Systems Analyst to ensure the planned maintenance interface with other areas of the system

agreeing development/improvements and system updates etc.

Providing details and the status of vessel certification, jobs and defects to the Superintendents and Managers to highlight any possibilities of overdue issues.

Creating new jobs and modifying existing job descriptions as required and as approved by department managers. Ensuring the system evolves in line with equipment empirical data, experience, OEM current recommendations and Classification and Statutory requirements.

Reviewing jobs carried out and defects rectified during repair and dry dock periods, to ensure they are addressed and closed out correctly on completion of the tasks. Qualifications and requirement for the Planned Maintenance System Administrator: Someone with existing shoreside experience in a similar post, coupled with a background to 2nd Engineer and above, or a strong Ship Repair background.

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) (preferably TM Master or Sertica).

Experience with ERRV or PSV vessels would be an advantage.

Good Knowledge of IMO (SOLAS, LSA, MARPOL etc.), Classification and Statutory rules & regulations.

Experience and understanding of vessel systems, equipment, maintenance and survey requirements & practices.

A problem solver that comes up with realistic solutions.

Excellent communicator.

Experience of maintenance, procurement, QHSE systems either as integrated or stand-alone applications.
