Senior Product Marketing Manager overview:
This role is central to the success and growth of the business, leading the marketing strategy for key products across all marketing channels. You will work closely with the product managers and marketing team to identify, develop and implement marketing plans for a broad range of products. You will set the channel and messaging strategy for their full product range, and work with the channel owners and creative teams to bring this to reality.
You will be able to use data and insights to create real world deliverables for customers across a range of marketing channels. You will enjoy a fast-paced environment where you’re thinking tactically and strategically to push my clients business forward in an entrepreneurial atmosphere where you’re expected to own and lead your area.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will lead the advanced planning, coordination and execution of all of the marketing for these launches and the ongoing support for each product and category. You will set and document the messaging strategy for all of our products across all channels.
- Use customer and business level analysis to proactively identify long term opportunities to drive increased product sales across marketing channels in order to drive measurable growth in the business.
- Responsible for the end-to-end management of these from planning, through to delivery and reporting.
- You will forward plan and manage the product marketing calendar, which will be a key part of the wider marketing calendar - giving the team clarity over our lead messages throughout the year.
- Working with the Product team you will monitor identify tactical opportunities for growth. Delivering fast paced marketing campaigns that deliver against weekly and monthly targets.
- As part of this role, you will need to understand how and why our customers are purchasing products from us and our competitors to ensure continually improving messaging to our different audiences.
- Reporting back to the business on all marketing led product initiatives, with detailed insights and recommendations on future campaigns and improvements.
Requirements/Experience:
- 5+ years in a Product Marketing role or similar with multi-year senior experience.
- Ideally operated within a fast paced FMCG type of organisation
- Track record of delivering successful data and customer insight led marketing campaigns
- Exceptional critical thinking to translate data and insight into relevant and tangible messaging and communication plans.
- Strong level of analytical skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and make independent customer and commercial decisions within an agreed framework.
