Education is one of three pillars of our Dermalogica brand DNA. The Education Director is responsible for ensuring that Dermalogica leads as the Authority in Skincare providing best in class education in all channels.
The role will be responsible for developing an education strategy to support all channels within the business, collaborating with the leadership team on how education can partner to achieve growth targets. Working with the Senior Leadership team the individual will lead the evolution of education both digitally and physically to expedite success. They are responsible for the successful roll out of the education strategy and they will work with the education management team to create, deliver and monitor results.
The Education Director will empower the wider education team to be responsible and accountable, build commercial awareness, develop best practices, maintain educational standards and productizing education.
The responsibilities of the Education Director…. Implement the global education strategy in the UK/IRE market to advance the professional skin therapists.
Develop an education strategy to enable the brand to win in medspa’s.
Drive Retail Success through ongoing development of team skills and knowledge, liaising with the retail education manager on the impact and performance of these training programs.
Provide data and analysis to demonstrate education’s commercial impact
Collaborate with the wider Education team to establish the right systems to process, track and coordinate information so growth and success can be measured
Contribute to the business strategy and identify ways education can positively influence channel growth.
Innovate relentlessly on content, delivery and human connection to initiate optimum success.
Maintain and evolve dermalogica as the authority in skin care in our direct to consumer community
Support PR and Influencer programmes with relevant education content
Review how education can work in a multi modal way with on demand, in person and live stream education. Reviewing with the learning and content manager the results of these methods and adjust accordingly.
Develop and Mentor the Education Senior Management teamthrough ensuring appropriate training and support is delivered to develop team member’s skills and expertise.
Continue to modernise the education department, looking for innovative opportunities to increase educations business impact across all channels.
Ensure our Training hub locations across the UK and IRE represent the brand and educational excellence, evolving these sites when needed and monitoring business impact on the PRO community
Previous experience in Education at senior management level
Equivalent Level 3 in Beauty Therapy with Facial Electricals
Strong Digital and IT skills
Creative, strategic and forward thinking/planning
