Managing Director Norway / Commercial Director
Based in Norway, Scotland, and Canada, WellFish Tech is a dynamic and forward-looking company. WellFish Tech is developing the global standard for aquatic health management through continuous fish health monitoring using rapid clinical chemistry analysis resulting in predictive fish health forecasting.
Wellfish Tech is looking for an experienced and proactive Managing Directorto add value to our organization and help us meet our ambitious plans.The primary aim of this position is overall leadership of the Norwegian organization and to foster and broaden the company’s commercial activity that will lead to sustainable growth in Norway and internationally. The first year will be all about sales and commercial activities with focus on building new customers in Norway.
Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
Direct and motivate key employeesto the management team
Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams (marketing, sales, customer service etc.)
Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
Build networks inside and outside of the organization
Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients
In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English
BSc/BA in business administration, finance or relevant field; Challenging tasks with good opportunities for personal and professional development
We are looking for someone to be in our office in Bergen, but we could be open for other solutions for the right candidate.
