The Opportunity

Adnodd is a new company created by Welsh Government to secure easy access for all learners and teachers to innovative, high-quality, and bilingual resources that will enrich their experience of the Curriculum for Wales. Adnodd will provide strategic direction and work with practitioners and content creators across the education landscape to commission and quality assure the education resources that will help learners to succeed.


Yolk Recruitment is supporting Adnodd to recruit a Director of Strategy & Delivery who will play a pivotal role in shaping Adnodd’s impact on education in Wales. A strategic leader, you will collaborate with practitioners, contributors, and stakeholders to ensure the effective commissioning, development, delivery, and alignment of educational resources.

The Director of Strategy & Delivery will be instrumental in shaping and realising Adnodd’s mission and ensuring that learners and practitioners have access to exceptional educational resources.

The Role

As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Strategy & Delivery will foster an empowering, learning, and dynamic organisational culture. Your strategic insight and leadership will not only shape the organisation’s direction but also ensure that all learners and practitioners have access to impactful educational tools through:

Requirements

The successful Director of Strategy & Delivery will possess the following experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • Proficiency in both Cymraeg (Welsh) and English
  • Strategic leadership within education/resource development or relevant sector
  • Development and leadership of high performing teams
  • Strategic thinking, vision-setting and planning
  • Project management
  • Relevant degree or equivalent

  • Starting salary of £71,500
