Competition Lawyer


About the Role:

US based firm is seeking a talented and motivated competition lawyer to join their dynamic and high-performing team in their London office. As a key member of their global antitrust practice, you will work on cutting-edge matters for leading multinational corporations, including Fortune 500 companies and private equity firms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting complex antitrust investigations and proceedings before the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and other regulatory authorities.
  • Advising clients on a wide range of competition law matters, including mergers, joint ventures, distribution agreements, and abuse of dominance.
  • Drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, such as competition law opinions, submissions, and pleadings.
  • Conducting legal and economic research to support the firm's practice.
  • Managing and mentoring junior lawyers.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified lawyer with 2-7 years of experience in competition law.
  • Strong academic record from a top-tier law school.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand complex business issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
