Are you a proactive Credit Analyst with strong experience in credit risk and financial modelling?
Do you have Banking or Trade-Finance experience, and can see yourself progressing to that next step in a fast-paced environment unlike any other?
Our client, a complex global banking organisation are looking to hire an experienced Credit / Credit Risk professional, with ideally at least 4-5 years’ of relevant experience in their senior Credit Analyst position.
Based in their London (City) office and offering a base salary up to £70,000 (A little Flexible DoE). Alongside 2 days working from home, discretionary bonus, and wider benefits such as private medical covers
Responsibilities:
- Assess the related risk and financial strength of the firm's borrowers and counterparts by performing analysis using both quantitative and qualitative tools.
- Review lending transactions, develop an independent view of cash flow projections, and determine risk appetite and credit ratings.
- Monitoring the portfolio and identify trends and risks.
- To ensure adherence to IFRS9 guidelines as part of credit review process.
Ideally you will be or have:
- At least 4/5+ years, previous Banking, Trade Finance or at least relevant global Financial Services experience gained within a Credit team or department.
- Knowledge and practical experience of MENA / GCC Markets, Corporate credit (Commodity / Real Estate Finance) climate risk assessment and credit risk analysis.
- An in-depth knowledge and understanding of risk management and IFRS9 Frameworks.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills in financial modelling, credit approvals and trade finance proposals.
