Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We are partnering with a PE backed business in Southampton in the recruitment of a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join their team in a highly commercial role.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will manage a team and be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely analysis, driving strategic and tactical decision making, businesses case review and corporate initiatives.
The role responsibilities will include:
Lead, own and co-ordinate the production of the monthly management reporting including Board and investor reporting.
Ownership of the Budget and forecast process for the Group
Weekly cash flow forecast and commentary, key P&L KPI analysis and development of metrics.
Maintain a robust financial control environment, reviewing monthly management accounts, accounting, sharing best practice and standards.
Be an instrumental part in driving change projects for the Group
About you:
We’re seeking an ambitious candidate who is technically strong, having qualified in practice ACA or ACCA, and has since moved into a commercial finance role.
You’ll be seeking your next career move with 5-10 years’ post qualification work experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success.
Advanced Excel skills are essential (Pivot Tables, Index/Match, SumIfs, XlookUps, Charts, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation) as are business partnering skills – candidates will be able to engage, consult and advise multiple stakeholders.
Experience in a in a results-orientated, growth and performance driven environment is key, as is the ability to produce high quality, timely deliverables in a complex and changing environment.
