Are you a visionary leader with a passion for cybersecurity and a knack for architecting enterprise-wide security solutions? If so, our London market insurance client is hiring for a Information Security Lead Architect


In this strategic and highly impactful role, you will design and implement cutting-edge security architectures to protect our organization's IT systems and data. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you’ll ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory compliance, and business objectives, all while driving innovation in information security.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the information security and data protection architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on designing, implementing, and integrating robust security solutions across the organization.
  • Collaboration: Work with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to address security risks and architect secure systems and applications.
  • Innovation: Evaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge security technologies and tools.
  • Security Governance: Define and enforce security standards, integrating them into IT architecture frameworks to achieve a security-by-design approach.
  • Risk Management: Conduct security reviews and risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective mitigations.
  • Mentorship: Act as a role model and mentor to security architects and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the organization in external security forums and conferences, contributing to thought leadership in the field.


What You Bring:

  • Experience: 10+ years in Information Security or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, ISSAP, or similar certifications.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in areas like network security, cloud security, vulnerability management, data protection, encryption, and secure software development.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Proven ability to lead with a global perspective, drive results, collaborate effectively, and mentor talent.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices: Familiarity with agile methodologies, architecture modeling, and security frameworks.
