Information Security Lead Architect Salary - £130,000
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for cybersecurity and a knack for architecting enterprise-wide security solutions? If so, our London market insurance client is hiring for a Information Security Lead Architect

In this strategic and highly impactful role, you will design and implement cutting-edge security architectures to protect our organization's IT systems and data. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you’ll ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory compliance, and business objectives, all while driving innovation in information security.

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the information security and data protection architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
Collaboration: Work with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to address security risks and architect secure systems and applications.
Security Governance: Define and enforce security standards, integrating them into IT architecture frameworks to achieve a security-by-design approach.
Risk Management: Conduct security reviews and risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective mitigations.
Represent the organization in external security forums and conferences, contributing to thought leadership in the field.

Experience: 10+ years in Information Security or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; a Master’s degree is a plus.
Expertise in areas like network security, cloud security, vulnerability management, data protection, encryption, and secure software development.
Proven ability to lead with a global perspective, drive results, collaborate effectively, and mentor talent.
Knowledge of Best Practices: Familiarity with agile methodologies, architecture modeling, and security frameworks.
