Purpose of the Job

  • Grow sales of Raytec's hazardous area and heavy industrial lighting products within the territory (Middle-East and South-East Asia)
  • Build mutually profitable long-term relationships with our existing distributors through effective Key Account Management (KAM)
  • Find new customers, projects and sales opportunities within the territory
  • Convert opportunities into sales and improve our sales conversion rate


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
  • Tailor messages, training and strategies to help each customer grow sales of Raytec
  • Attract new customers to Raytec
  • Train customers on Raytec products and applications
  • Build the value and quality of the sales pipeline
  • Understand individual customer needs and address those with Raytec solutions
  • Overcome sales objections
  • Visit new and prospective customers, tradeshows and events within the territory when required


Person Specification

  • Experience of working in business-to-business sales (min 3-4 years)
  • A proven track record of business development and sales success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thoroughly understand Raytec's core technology and explain it in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to listen, identify a customers needs, and tailor your proposal accordingly
  • Ability to negotiate with staff at all levels of an organisation
