Purpose of the Job
- Grow sales of Raytec's hazardous area and heavy industrial lighting products within the territory (Middle-East and South-East Asia)
- Build mutually profitable long-term relationships with our existing distributors through effective Key Account Management (KAM)
- Find new customers, projects and sales opportunities within the territory
- Convert opportunities into sales and improve our sales conversion rate
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
- Tailor messages, training and strategies to help each customer grow sales of Raytec
- Attract new customers to Raytec
- Train customers on Raytec products and applications
- Build the value and quality of the sales pipeline
- Understand individual customer needs and address those with Raytec solutions
- Overcome sales objections
- Visit new and prospective customers, tradeshows and events within the territory when required
Person Specification
- Experience of working in business-to-business sales (min 3-4 years)
- A proven track record of business development and sales success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thoroughly understand Raytec's core technology and explain it in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to listen, identify a customers needs, and tailor your proposal accordingly
- Ability to negotiate with staff at all levels of an organisation
