We are looking for a Intermediate Project Manager/ Senior Project Engineer to join our Manchester.


What is the role about?


As a Project Manager at IPS, you will plan and manage a wide range of projects, from small improvements to large-scale initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Project Team, utilizing the IPS project management methodology and the best available tools to help our clients achieve their goals.


Your project management responsibilities may include various phases and specializations:


  • Project feasibility: Process description, plant layout, overall time schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan.
  • Project preparation phase: Investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.
  • Project realization phase: Project management, detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.


Who are you?

  • Engineering degree or certification (e.g., Civil Engineering or similar)
  • Construction experience or interest in industry.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Experience in the Aluminium/primary sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in the realization phase of projects.
  • Comfortable with large construction projects and equipment.
  • Experience with the complete life cycle of projects, including master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, main infrastructure needs, contracting, and construction management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks requiring various skills and prioritize their completion effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Open to mobility.
